The Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Marketing North America to lead our marketing team in the US. The successful candidate will oversee a team of seven, leading the strategic direction across PR, influencer marketing, social media, and trade marketing, while driving overall brand visibility in the North American market.
In this role you’ll get to:
- Lead the development and execution of comprehensive marketing strategies across multiple channels, including PR, influencer marketing, digital advertising, social media, brand partnerships and trade marketing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, product development, and global marketing to ensure alignment and consistency across all campaigns.
- Oversee the management and execution of influencer, social and PR strategies, focusing on both brand-building and driving commercial results.
- Manage a team of direct reports, including the Senior Trade Marketing Manager, Senior PR & Influencer Manager, and Senior Marketing Manager, to ensure team objectives are met.
- Drive the expansion and visibility of Tangle Teezer within key retailers (Ulta, Target, Amazon, etc.) and through digital platforms.
- Develop and implement innovative marketing campaigns that resonate with diverse audiences across North America.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key retailers, influencers, and media outlets to drive brand presence and growth.
- Regularly analyze market trends and competitor activity to provide actionable insights and inform strategy.
- Manage and report on marketing budgets, ensuring effective and efficient use of resources to maximize ROI.
- Ensure that all marketing activity aligns with the Tangle Teezer brand values and contributes to the overarching business objectives.
What we are looking for in you:
- Proven experience in a senior marketing role, ideally within the beauty, personal care, or consumer goods industries.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, develop, and manage a diverse team.
- Exceptional strategic thinking and a track record of successfully executing multi-channel marketing campaigns.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence key stakeholders and drive results.
- Experience in managing influencer, PR, and social media campaigns, with a deep understanding of both the US and UK markets.
- A data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills and the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.
- A collaborative approach, with the ability to work across functions to meet business goals.
- A fast-paced, adaptable, and proactive approach to working in a growing environment.
