Trade Marketing Coordinator

The Role
The Trade Marketing Coordinator will support the growth of the Tangle Teezer brand within key US retail channels including Ulta, Target, Amazon, and others. This role will focus on executing trade marketing initiatives and supporting the Senior Trade Marketing Manager in all activities that drive brand visibility and growth at retail.
In this role you’ll get to:
- Assist in the development and execution of trade marketing strategies, including merchandising, e-commerce execution, and product launches.
- Collaborate with the sales team to support retailer needs and ensure brand visibility, awareness, and successful execution to meet sales targets.
- Manage in-store POS materials, ensuring timely delivery and working with partners on optimal placement to drive retail sales.
- Coordinate with the global marketing team to align on campaign strategies to support U.S. retailer needs.
- Assist in preparing and presenting new product launches and marketing strategies to key U.S. retailers, including shipping out samples to retailer merchant teams.
- Support Amazon and U.S. retailers’ brand execution including content optimization, image recommendations, and A+ content.
- Communicate with external agencies to ensure successful content execution, advertising strategies and performance.
- Assist in performing ad audits, managing KPI tracking, and creating post-activation recaps for key retail accounts.
- Maintain and update trade marketing calendar and own monthly trade marketing updates to share with the sales team.
- Assist with updates on consumer-focused marketing assets and execute content uploads across key retailer sites.
- Create and establish processes to track vendor P.O.s, invoices and payments with internal partners.
- Develop creative briefs for product launches and trade marketing programs including in-store POS signage, online digital banners and assets.
- Own progress and update communication on creative projects and prioritize the list of projects with Creative team to ensure needed assets are deliverable on time.
- Assist in supporting Trade Marketing team with day-to-day ad hoc tasks.
- Help strategize and develop innovative trade marketing programs to be successfully executed in stores, online and omni-channels.
- Track and analyze competitor activity including store visits to provide insights to the US sales and brand marketing team.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with cross-functional partners and external vendors.
What we are looking for in you:
- Proven experience in trade marketing and knowledge of key trends in the beauty or hair care industry.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint required.
- Experience in working on content syndication platform strongly preferred, but not required.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- A proactive, self-motivated and collaborative team player with the ability to work cross-functionally.
- Able to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
